When I looked more closely at the cover, it seemed to be that but was about a Canadian "cop". After reading Teri Hein's "Atomic Farmgirl" I feel that I have become very familiar with the rhythms of life played out by those Lutheran wheat farmers.

Much of it is as enjoyable as a good history book, and Kinsman makes his love of "private science" (the individual thought processes by which scientists make their discoveries) apparent. I was curious enough and interested enough after reading the book to check that out as of updates "today".
