They kept the price down by keeping the images to a minimum and only to those that are in the public domain, so if you wanted a lot of color photos, this is not your book. If you are a avid reader of 69 Bottles like myself, you know him as Beck. This thin (124 page) book is a reasonable quick introduction to the topic of Wireless Community Networks. Please note that the 1 star tha I give is for the kindle version, not the book itself. I've long stopped reading books that chronicles the rise of companies and have walked right past bookshelves that proclaim the arrival of new giants like Facebook and Twitter, but, RIM, of course, is different and I had to get it.
Now, the book is good and it starts well. This book, on the mathematics of the generation and propagation of waves on the ocean was introduced to me while I worked at the Point Mugu, Naval Air Station 40 years ago, as a Mathematician whose job it was to "score" test fired Missile shots off the nearby California island
