In Tales of the Norse Gods one can expect to read about the feats of mighty gods who waged war against the powerful Frost giants as well as all the passions and jealousies that drove them.
Tales of the Norse Gods is a terrific book and highly recommended. The examples are very helpful and clear. I am not a huge fan of pages upon pages of description; however, author Dickey (even in his copious descriptions) kept his focus and I stayed focused along with him. While it is a perfectly respectable word in some places, in quite a few it is a strong obscenity.. The story culminates in an exorcism and a nighttime chase during a raging thunderstorm -- a tad overdone, but fitting to the
